Refund & Cancellation Policy – KuttyKart

Thank you for shopping with KuttyKart. Our goal is to provide fast, reliable delivery of groceries, food, medicines, and essential items. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how returns, refunds, and cancellations work on our platform.


1. Order Cancellation by Customer

Before Order is Accepted

You may cancel your order before the vendor accepts or starts preparing it.
Refunds for prepaid orders will be initiated immediately.

After Order is Accepted / Packed

Once the vendor begins preparing or packing the order, cancellation may not be allowed, especially for:

• Groceries

• Fresh food

• Medicines

• Perishable or temperature-sensitive items

If cancellation is allowed, charges may apply.


2. Cancellation by KuttyKart or Vendor

Your order may be cancelled if:

• The product is out of stock

• The vendor is unavailable

• Delivery partner is not reachable

• Incorrect address or unreachable customer

• Technical or payment issues

In such cases, you will receive a full refund for prepaid orders.


3. Return & Refund Eligibility

Returnable Items

Returns may be accepted only if:

• You received a wrong product

• The item is damaged, expired, or spoiled

• The item does not match the product description

You must report the issue within 2 hours of delivery with clear proof (photo/video).

Non-Returnable Items

Returns are not accepted for:

• Fresh food items

• Cooked food

• Groceries (fresh produce, dairy, meat)

• Medicines

• Personal care items

• Temperature-sensitive products

• Items marked “non-returnable”


4. Refund Process

Once your refund request is approved:

• Refund will be initiated to your original payment method

• Refunds may take 3–7 business days depending on the payment provider

• Wallet refunds (if applicable) are processed instantly

Cash-on-delivery orders will be refunded to your KuttyKart wallet or bank account (if supported).


5. Parcel Delivery Refunds

Refunds for parcel delivery are issued only if:

• The delivery partner fails to pick up the parcel

• The parcel is lost or damaged due to delivery partner negligence

Refunds are not provided if:

• Wrong address was given

• Customer was unavailable

• Packaging was inadequate by the sender


6. Subscription Refunds (For Vendors)

Subscription fees paid by vendors are non-refundable unless:

• A double payment was made

• Transaction failure but amount was deducted

In such cases, refunds will be issued after verification.


7. Fraud Prevention

KuttyKart reserves the right to:

• Reject suspicious refund requests

• Block accounts involved in repeated false complaints

• Take legal action in case of abuse of the refund system
